602d Unit Crest

Buff is the primary color traditionally used by Support organizations. Blue represents the sky and black denotes solidity and consistency. The chevron symbolizes strength and support and its nebula is derived from clouds recalling the sky and aviation. The two sections of the shield are interlocked to show teamwork and cooperation. The wing, upright and ready, echoes the Battalion’s motto "TO MEND BROKEN WINGS," goals and mission for total military preparedness.
